Tuna Tour Try Dive

Your first dive starts with Tuna Tour! Experience the thrill of diving for the first time surrounded by hundreds of bluefin tuna. Your adventure begins aboard our catamaran at the Port of l’Ametlla de Mar, from where we’ll take you 5 km off the coast for your try dive among these majestic fish that can grow over 2 metres long.

During the 20-minute boat ride, you’ll learn fascinating facts about this remarkable species, including its biology, physiology and unique behaviour. You’ll also gain insight into the process of capturing, caring for, and marketing bluefin tuna—right up to the moment it reaches the world’s top restaurants—and how sustainability plays a key role in every step, ensuring both quality and respect for nature and the species.

Once at the pools, our expert dive team will guide you through the safety procedures for your dive. Then, it’s time to gear up and dive in—up to 8 meters deep!

You’ll be surrounded by hundreds of bluefin tuna, so get ready to feel the thrill of becoming one with them. It’s a truly unique experience that will amaze you!

On the return trip, enjoy a tasting of Balfegó Bluefin Tuna sashimi with a drink. You’ll also get to view photos and videos of your adventure.
